Adulting 101 will teach the students how to hang a picture on the wall, cook and other simple tasks, which many adults find difficult to perform.

According to Sarah Wilson-Abell who has created the course said that its curriculum will last for 3 days. While the first day will be all about money, the next will be about home and health. The last day will teach the students how to be professional.

Wilson-Abell plans to bring Adulting 101 again to Fern Creek the next year and hopes to prompt other schools to follow their lead.

Lily is a student who took the course and has gained a lot of knowledge from Adulting 101. She would otherwise probably never learn anything like that.

Lily acknowledged that she knows that she has a spare tire in her car but would not have known what to do with it if she did not take the course. She further added that she knew bits about laundry but did not sort them.

Some people, however, did not like the idea as they believe that these duties should be taught by the parents and not in school.
