Police have taken a kindergarten teacher into custody for charges of a misdemeanor, reportedly for making a student eat his own feces.
Mamie Robinson Aplon, 67, from Jasper, was arrested by the police for making the child eat his own feces.
The name and age of the affected student from Few Primary School, Bulldog Avenue, have not been disclosed.
The actions of the inhumane teacher have been taken very seriously by the authorities. According to a statement by 12newsnow, Superintendent of Jasper ISD Dr. Steve Hyden said that Aplon was sent on administrative leave right after her actions became known to the authorities.
“The alleged incident was reported to campus administrators on the day of the incident and the district immediately placed the teacher on administrative leave and informed the Jasper Police Department and Child Protective Services,” Dr. Hyden said.
“The district has cooperated fully during the investigation of this matter and will continue to do so.
“Jasper ISD has been informed of the indictment of a teacher resulting in an indictment at Few Primary in September of 2019.
“As this is a sensitive student and personnel matter, the district cannot provide further details about the incident. However, the issue of the safety and well-being of Jasper students is our top priority.”
The case was heard by a Jasper County grand jury who charged Aplon with Class A misdemeanor on October 31, ultimately resulting in her arrest.
The indictment was released by KJAS and it says that Aplon was charged with purposefully subjecting the helpless victim “to mistreatment that the defendant knew was unlawful, illegal, namely causing EJ to eat his own feces, and the defendant was then and there acting under the color of her employment as an educator.”
Aplon is the daughter of Jasper’s ex-Mayor, late R.C. Horn. She was summoned by Mark Allen, Jasper County magistrate, on November 1 with a $10,000 bond set for her.
Another milestone for the public education system. Believe me an arrest would be the least of that scumbags troubles if it were my child.

All the states, as well as the federation, have a strict set of SOPs for teachers to properly treat the students. If a teacher mistreats a child or puts their lives in danger, the incident is taken very seriously by the authorities.
If you notice anything strange about your school-going child and suspect that it might be the outcome of mistreatment by a teacher, you should immediately report the incident to the authorities to make sure that the responsible person is brought before the law.
