A 14-year-old schoolgirl, who went missing for two days, was found well and also safe along with her pet Shi Tzu dog.
Hayley Maddison was last seen during lunch hours in Darlington, after that she completely disappeared with her pet dog named Maggie.
She went missing on March 2nd around noon, and there was no sign of her for 48-hours.
The police got involved and immediately took action by filling the missing report of the 14-year-old, and her pet dog as well.
Once the news of the missing Hayley Maddison made headlines, thousands of individuals came together to share an appeal to look for Hayley, who hailed from Darlington.
Urgent appeals were made to find Hayley and her pet Shi Tzu dog that sparked a major police search.
Other reports provided information that she went missing right from her home, and to make the search much easier, a photo, her height and the clothes she was wearing were also posted on various social media platforms.
Other information provided that she could be located near Sutherland or Washington area and might travel further towards north-east by train.
The picture of her pet dog Maggie was also posted, to report to the police.
However, Hayley Maddison and her dog were found safe and well on March 4th, the same day when the police filed a missing report.
She was found in the Sutherland area along with her dog Maggie, and was in good shape and no sign of any wounds or injury.
The news of her being found was declared by a spokesperson of Durham Constabulary, by saying the girl and her dog were found in good condition.
The police have thanked everyone who shared their appeal to find Haley Maddison and her pet dog through all social media platforms and the news as well.
