Last year, in 2018, scientists found a male puppy who was 18,000 years old frozen in Siberia.
The puppy was found in the lump of frozen ground, which was near Indigirka River, in Russia.
The permafrost preserved everything from the puppy’s full body like the eyelashes, whiskers, and thick hair.
The scientists claimed that the dog was only a few months old when he died, and the reason for the death is still not determined.
The canine is more than 18,000 years old, and it is confirmed as the oldest dog n history. Though the scientists are not able to figure out if the preserved animal is a dog or a wolf, but they are still trying to figure out.
The researchers from Sweden have claimed that it’s a dog. Love Dalen and Dave Stanton claim that the dog was very well preserved, and it was not easy to figure out the age when it was found.
It was found in the permafrost, and things only get frozen there when they are hundreds of years old.
The creature was 18,000 years old, and that makes everything interesting because there might be a lot of genetic stuff happening with both wolves and dogs.
It could be a very modern wolf or an early dog, but nothing can be confirmed on that.
The puppy was found in Siberia, and it remains there as the researchers are studying about its rib bones.
The scientists think that this can contribute to something that has been in the debate field for a very long time now.
The scientists have named the puppy as Dogor, and it is unbelievable to see how nicely it was preserved.
