A Scuba diver developed an unusual bond with a tiny fish and their friendship is winning the Internet.
The Scuba diver, Marino has found a true friend in a tiny fish named ‘Nemo’.
The decade-long friends were captured by award-winning cinematographer, Shawn Heinrichs and the video won the Internet.
Marino, who is a dive master in New Caledonia, visits his friend Nemo in the South Pacific of New Caledonia.
Shawn Heinrichs, who captured their friendship, wrote with the video: “Did you know that fish have their own unique personalities and that we can actually form super cool relationships with them?”
“We tend to look at fish as commodities in our food chain or emotionless beings without personality. I hope this story of Marino and Nemo can flip this misconception upside-down, revealing that so many creatures in nature have distinct personalities and behaviors.”
“Fish have feelings, feel pain, and can be highly curious and social beings. Who would have guessed that a clownfish could form a personal relationship with a single person and recognize that individual and come out to greet them and play with them everyday?”
The video left everyone in awe. One wrote: ‘Beautiful to see….Dory will be pissed though’
Another said: ‘Fish are friends not food’ while the third one wrote: ‘And this is why I can’t eat fish!’
