According to the reports, the mansion was brought to life by Petty, who died in 2017, and his former wife back in 1989.
Since its construction, the mansion has been thoroughly renovated.
In a recent turn of events, Gomez has also released a new song titled ‘Boyfriend’ which she allegedly wrote before the pandemic started. Now, the singer has insisted that she is focused on “safety, unity, and recovery.”
In a live-streamed episode of Miley Cyrus’ Bright Minded, Gomez has also opened up about her mental health and revealed that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder following her visit to “one of the best mental hospitals.”
As the Feel Me hitmaker revealed, she feels grateful to finally understand what’s been causing all the depression and anxiety throughout the years.
“Recently, I went to one of the best mental hospitals in America, McClean Hospital, and I discussed that after years of going through a lot of different things, I realized that I was bipolar,” the singer admitted.
As Gomez went on to say, the diagnosis made her feel not only “terrified” but also relieved because she now finally knows what she’s dealing with.
“When I have more information, it actually helps me, it doesn’t scare me once I know it,” the 27-year-old added.
“When I was younger, I was scared of thunderstorms and my mom bought me all these books on thunderstorms and she was like, ‘the more you educate yourself on this, the more that you’re not going to be afraid.’ It completely worked. That’s something that helps me big time.”
The Lose You To Love Me singer has also opened up about her upbringing and claimed speaking about emotions wasn’t a popular thing to do in Texas where she was raised.
“I’m from Texas, it’s just not known to talk about mental health. You got to seem cool. And then I see anger built up in children and teenagers or whatever young adults because they are wanting that so badly,” she added.
“I just feel like when I finally said what I was going to say, I wanted to know everything about it. And it took the fear away.”
