As a proud pet parent, I understand the love of bringing an animal into your home.
I enjoy the warm love of a furry creature whose main interests are eating and napping with me.
My cats greet me when I come home from a long day of work, they wish me goodnight before I go to sleep, and they are my little alarm clocks announcing breakfast every morning.
Animals adopted from shelters are especially loving. They have the unfortunate experience of being taken from their homes and placed in a loud environment with many other animals. While shelters offer an amazing service for surrendered animals, they can be stressful and overstimulating. That’s why they try to place animals in homes where they can relax and unwind. Shelter pets often transform from stressed to sweet when they come home.
