Ace, who has been training to become a service dog for the blind with Guide Dogs of America, visited Disneyland as a part of his training with his trainer Sandy Steinblums.
During his visit, he met his hero, Pluto. He was so delighted to meet Pluto that his reaction melted visitors’ hearts at Disneyland.
The heart-melting video was posted online and received thousands of likes and comments. One user wrote: ‘He was keeping a low position to show he’s not trying to overpower Pluto. That’s typical of Goldens who just want peace and good relationships with other living creatures.’
Another user said: ‘That golden retriever was like oh my god that’s the biggest dog I’ve ever seen’ while the third one added: ‘He’s like, omg I love you so much can we take a picture together, but in dog language.’
The third one added: ‘Omg! This is SO cute! I had a service dog. She got to go with me to college and she also rode the rides at DisneyWorld (in Florida). If she saw Pluto she would give him a TON of kisses!’
Ace’s trainer Sandy Steinblums has been training him to become a service dog for the blind with Guide Dogs of America. He still has between six and nine months of training to complete.
He will then officially become a service dog for the blind.
This video shows how friendly and cheerful Ace is. He got so excited after seeing Pluto at Disneyland. He was so happy and enjoyed meeting his Hero!
