Now, Brazilian police have found out that a company was creating fake cars of both of these brands and was selling them at a dirt-cheap price. They took the action by raiding in the company and closing it down for once and for all hopefully.
Officers of Brazilian police broke into a factory on Monday in the Santa Catarina state and found 8 fake cars that were almost ready to be assembled.
The owners of the factory was a duo of a father and the son who was carrying out the fake car-making business and had been offering the cars on social media for between $45,000 and $60,000, which does not even estimate to half of the price of these cars. Yes, both of them have been arrested.
They have been charged with Industrial Property Crime and will be spending the next three years in jail.
According to the reports, the duo had started their illegal venture two years ago. They have their market base on social media.
