Former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, 29, has shared the first photos of her newborn son.
Announcing the incredible news on Instagram, Johnson and her husband NFL player Andrew East, also 29, have shared videos and photos of their second child.
They also posted black-and-white photos of their family and Johnson’s emotional first moments with their baby.
It was in January when Johnson revealed that she was pregnant with their second child.
The couple, who tied the knot in April 2016, previously told People in a statement: “We are so happy to welcome our little man into the world. We are loving life as a family of four and soaking up every minute.”
Johnson also shared the amazing news on Instagram, sharing photos of herself displaying her baby bump.
“Here we go again,” she captioned the photos.
One week before Johnson gave birth via c-section, the couple took to Instagram and wrote: “We’re so excited to announce a new friend is here. Mom and baby are doing well.”
Johnson recently shared photos taken by Gabrielle Hopkin. One image shows her daughter Draw Hazel cuddling her baby brother lovingly.
“Welcome to the world little man! We love you so much!” Johnson wrote.
The proud father-of-two also said: “I have never known a love like this.”
Even when the family is celebrating the birth of the new member of the family, Johnson asked fans for ‘healing prayers’ for her daughter as she has been “hit hard with a bad ear infection and RSV.”
One person commented: “Beautiful baby! Wishing her an easy recovery as C-sections are awful.”
Another wrote: “Congratulations! Wishing her a safe recovery as well, c-section is painful and recovery is longer.”
A third added: Congratulations to all three! He’s a beautiful baby!”
