A man in Wales has just won a sexual harassment case against a younger female colleague.
The latter was pestering the maintenance man for sex and threatened to ruin his life if he tried to report her to the boss.
According to the reports, the maintenance guy who is 50-years old and married had begged the woman repeatedly to leave him alone; however, she would not let him go.
In fact, she even emailed his wife to imagine him cheating on her. The names of both man and woman were not revealed in the report, so they remain anonymous.
The victim and the assaulter used to work in a cleaning company. She worked as an administrative assistant, and the two bonded over contained innuendo humor.
At some point in their friendship, the Wales man offered to help the woman as she was going through tough times in her life. This was when she started to pursue him aggressively.
Initially, she texted the man that she would repay him for the help with kind and asked him out on a drink. After a week, she clearly mentioned that she would have sex with him, and it would be fun. To which the guy said he is happily married, and it is better if they remained colleagues.
However, the woman did not stop and continued to text him and asking for sex at work when their boss was away.
The man asked her to stop multiple times and said that her behavior is offensive, but it was not enough for the woman to stop.
When the man threatened her that he would report her, she pointed out certain privileges that women get in the workplace.
She told him that she is a broken single mom and can make his life living hell if he thought of reporting her.
But the man reported her, and he ended up getting fired after she filed her own false allegation report against him.
He was suspended for five days before an employment tribunal ruled that the boss fired the man on unfair grounds. And with clear evidence and his persistence, the man won the case.
