Sheep Turns Red to Impress the Americans in Scottish Land


Known for their extreme dry sense of humor Scottish people which is exactly in contrast to the Americans can be taken quite funny especially when both these ethnicities come together.

There is this tartan patterned sheep which is now making a lot of noise all over the internet.

American tourists have been visiting Maxine Scott, 62 for the last 10 years and every year her tourists demand that her two lovely ewes Daisy and April are to be painted red and to be drunk Irn-Bru.

Well, Maxine has made it possible for his tourists and these sheep are found on the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre and the sheep is sprayed with red paint which happens to be a marker spray which is usually used by the farmers during the numbering of lambs to identify their sheep.

The best and the most hilarious part is that Maxine has now hung a board to indicate to the visitors that these sheep naturally turn into that color since the centre is visited by a large number of tourists. Also, there is information about how this wool is used to make kilts later.

Also, Maxine speaks about the diet of the sheep and which is described clearly on the enclosure. Maxine says that the sheep eats only grass and they also enjoy Irn Bru along with Scottish Tablet or shortbread.

Maxine also says that the park was already filled with Tartan sheep and this was exclusively for the tourists and the tradition is just being followed as the public loves to see these tartan patterned sheep.

Well, more than anybody else it is the Americans who love the sight of these beautiful creatures painted in red. Also, Maxine speaks about how the lambs come out naturally but, as they grow older their color changed and they develop these tartans.

Also, there is a signboard that speaks about how magnificent it is about to have these tartan sheep first discovered at Auchingarrich many years ago.

This wool is then used to make tartan kilts, scarves, and blankets. Maxine also says that this lamb also looks similar to any others but they change their color once they are a year old. Also, Maxine says that there are chances of the colors of these sheep may change too and you may end up seeing different sheep too.

It is nice to know how Maxine has been decorating these sheep beautifully ever since she bought the farm 10 years ago. She also mentions that Marker sprays are better than anything else and she has been quite successful in impressing her American visitors.
