In a bizarre confrontation, a man dressed in a T-Rex costume teased a fully grown alligator with its dinner during a feeding session.
To entertain the visitors, 35-year-old Jason McDonald from Colorado decided to dress into an even fiercer predator while feeding one of his alligators.
As the man admitted, he could barely see out of the costume as he was feeding the beast. He also joked that he would most likely have a “bad day” if the gator wasn’t too lazy to get out of water.
Luckily for Jason, however, Morris the Gator is a trained and well-known movie star who appeared in films such as Happy Gilmore and Dr. Dolittle.
“I know it looks like we are teasing him, but he’s a chunky alligator so we make him work for his food to burn some calories,” Mr. McDonald explained.
“I was feeling nervous and it’s not very easy to see in the costume because it gets foggy from breathing on it.
“It’s insanely hard to feed the gators in it – you can’t see very well and I can’t extend my arm out all the way to get more distance.
“I have quick reflexes but if the ‘gator was to come all the way out of the water and chase me I’d have a bad day.”
While this confrontation may not have ended with a clear winner, one thing is sure – the guests had a great time watching a fake T-Rex confront a grownup alligator!
