Those who have experienced emotional abuse find it difficult to speak for themselves or stand for themselves. They are afraid to take any action and feels like avoiding conflicts all the time.
People pleaser:
If you were raised to be terrified of you might disappoint or anger someone, then your mindset in growing up has always remained focused on making others happy even if you have to sacrifice your desires and freedom.
Suffer from depression or anxiety:
As your emotions are all bottled up, your mental state becomes unstable and you suffer from depression and anxiety without even knowing the source.
Exceedingly Shy:
Those who have experienced emotional abuse as growing up are used to silencing their voice as they are afraid that they might displease or disappoint someone. They find it difficult to form new relationships.
