Simon Cowell is making headlines after he gave a £20 note to a beggar as he went out for a shopping trip to Harrods.
The 59-year-old was leaving Harrods after spending 2 hours in the department store with his son Eric when a beggar approached him.
An onlooker filmed the moment Simon handed over a £20 note to a woman as she asked him for money.

Chauffeur Tony Howard witnessed the moment Simon gave a £20 note to the beggar while he was waiting to pick up clients outside the Knightsbridge department store.
He said: “He came out of door five at Harrods and there were lots of people waiting outside. The elderly lady just walked up to him and held out her hand. There are often beggars around there and they are always pestering people for money.”
“She just got lucky that she was there when he was. He pulled out a wad of notes from his right-hand pocket and gave her £20.”
“It was nice of him and a good thing to do. But it’s the sort of thing I’d expect from him.”
Simon’s good deed went viral after a video of him helping the beggar with the money was shared online. People praised him wholeheartedly as one user wrote: ‘Excellent just shows what type of person you are’.
