In the first look, The Simpsons is like any other animated comedy series that shows the daily life of a bright yellow family as they navigate through routine tasks of domestic living.
However, proper Simpsons fans can tell that it is much more than just that. The show has deeper meanings than we could understand as kids.
The first thing that a grown-up can notice in The Simpsons is a large number of dark grown-up jokes in the show that children can’t spot.
More astonishingly, the plots of some of the episodes seem to be predicting the future or are, at least, ahead of their time.
A number of episodes of The Simpsons have plotlines and stories that have somewhat predicted the future to a certain degree of accuracy including Disney’s takeover of Fox.
To facilitate the viewers who like to see the future being predicted by The Simpsons, Disney+ has placed all such episodes in a collection so that the fans can have their minds blown at will.
The collection has all the episodes with the predictions from the 31 seasons of the show. The full list of the episodes includes:
S6: E8 – ‘Lisa On Ice’
S6: E19 – ‘Lisa’s Wedding’
S9: E1 – ’The City Of New York vs Homer Simpson’
S9: E4 – ’Lisa’s Sax’
S10: E2 – ’Wizard Of Evergreen Terrace’
S10: E5 – ’When You Dish Upon A Star’
S11: E17 – ’Bart To The Future’
S20: E4 – ’Treehouse Of Horror XIX’

If you are not into uncovering conspiracy theories from a seemingly benign cartoon series, you can watch other Simpsons collections including The Simpsons Sports, The Simpsons Travel, and The Simpsons Rock on Disney’s streaming service.
The Simpsons was created by Matt Groening and has been around for more than two decades since its debut on December 17, 1989. We all have childhood memories with The Simpsons as it was repeatedly telecast on TV.
And the show is now available for streaming on Disney+.
