Doing press-ups is probably the most core engaging exercise. That is why, not many people go past 100. How many press-ups can you do at the most, without a break?
1, 10, 30, 50, 80, 100 or even more? Well, subtract that from 3720. Now that’s the number of press-ups you need to do more if you want to win a free flat.
Reportedly a six-year-old Russian completed 3720 press-ups in just two hours to enter Russian Book of Records. I bet this news just made your arms sore. I wonder how much muscle he gained by doing a total of 4445 press-ups!
Ibrahim Lyanov from Novy Redandt, Russia, was that six-year-old and he not only did 3720 but 725 more to set up a new record on June 10. Ibrahim now officially holds the record of the highest number of press-ups, 4445, in one attempt.
But this does not come to those who have a weak body of a will. One must have the rock-hard dedication and abs of steel. To train hard enough to create such a massive record, Ibrahim went to a local sports club, Chingiz, every day with his father.
To honor the enormous record created by Ibrahim, the club gifted him a two-bedroom apartment in Magas. Currently, Ibrahim visits the club twice a week.
Earlier a five-years-old, Rakhim Kurayev, managed to complete 4105 press-ups without a break. This impressed Ramzan Kadyrov, a close lieutenant to Russian President Vladmir Putin, so much that he handed him keys to a white Mercedes.
Jokingly he said to Rakhim that now his father would not need to hire taxi to take him to the sports club.
Rakhim will now try to break Ibrahim’s record. It seems like Russia has got a lot of talented kids with such powerful arms and core and not to forget, unwavering dedication.
