The schools around the world are on shutdown and to deal with the same, students have been receiving online classes or are studying on their own.
This restricts students to get a one on one chance with their teachers to get their problems solved.
But this math teacher from South Dakota recently showed that he is a great teacher and cares too much about his students.
Maintaining the advice of social distancing by authorities, this teacher went the extra mile to help his student. He went outside a student’s house and gave lessons from the outside.
Madison Middle School teacher Chris Waba said that he did not have to think twice before doing what he did. He said that it was not a tough choice going outside Rylee Anderson’s house and giving her a lesson through the glass door.
He said he had received multiple emails and messages from the Raylee who is his 12 years old student. She was having trouble understanding graphing lessons from algebra he had recently taught.
Rylee just lives across the street from Wada. He said “there is no option when it comes to students struggling with a new concept.
Rylee was really working hard but it was difficult for her. It is difficult for all of us to live like this. We have never been this way before.
I saw her struggling and I knew she was on the point where she would give up on it because of her frustration.
I could not have let it happen so I just took the board and went on to help her.
She is a very good student and the fact that she was not able to do it on her own was troubling her. For 12 years old, it is not healthy and so I rushed to help her out. Explained the lesson and she is great now.
