When one mentions “trick shot” what usually comes to mind is billiards or basketball.
But golf also involves balls shot into holes so a trick shot golfer really isn’t far-fetched.
In fact, one golfer gave up his coaching job in order to become a golfing trick shot expert.

Ryan Rustand was looking to change things up in his life but he didn’t mean giving up golfing. Rather, he meant that he was turning things up a notch by executing amazing trick shots that he can make from nearly any bizarre position. He showcases his skills both on the green and in his home to show us that those shots are no flukes.
Ryan said: “The trick shots became a fun way for me to pass the time and be creative.
“These trick shots are extremely difficult, however, most of my time is spent thinking of the concept.
“It certainly takes skill and coordination, but also having a big imagination plays a huge roll in a successful trick shot.
“I normally think about ideas during long drives, flights, or in bed at night. I’ve even dreamed of a few trick shots that I’ve brought to reality!
“I’d say I’m proud of each shot equally. They are products of my creative mind and each shot makes me proud in its own unique way!
“I’m super passionate about what I do and I hope this might inspire someone to find their passion as well!”
A lot of people think that golf is the thing that retirees or top-level corporate executives play while discussing the weather or closing a deal. While this may be true of casual golfers, once you get into the more competitive aspects of the sport, a certain level of athleticism is also needed.
It’s no surprise to see professional golfers in the gym working out those muscle sets that will help them produce a more powerful and precise swing. It’s really like any competitive physical sport once you get right down to it. So it’s really no surprise that Ryan has to conceptualize and practice his shots to get the performance down perfectly.
And if you’re wondering why he’s not up there racing neck and neck with Tiger Woods, the thing about trick shots is that the conditions are usually staged, unlike competitive golfing where everything is so dynamic. Still, it doesn’t take away the fact that Ryan is a very talented golfer indeed.
