If you have teeth you’ll soon have plaque.
You can’t just avoid it. Getting rid of it could make a huge hole in your pocket if you go to the dentist. We have forgotten the age-old remedies that our ancestors used in their lifespan. We now prefer packaged chemical products that sometimes do more harm than good.
There’s a trick that my grandmother used to teach that will remove plaque and save a lot of dollars.
It is an easy household remedy that doesn’t take much time and comprises of ingredients that are already present in your home. In addition to this, it has been proven to be useful scientifically.
You can try out this trick tonight at your own residence.
What you will need to prepare a household remedy
- Salt: Put a teaspoon of common salt in a mug or a small glass.
- Baking Soda: You would need about 2 teaspoons of baking soda. Add it to the salt present in the mug and mix it carefully.
- Water: To the mixture of salt and baking soda, add about one teaspoon of water. Stir this mixture.
Ensure that the resultant paste is firm enough to be put on a toothbrush.
Directions:
Just brush your teeth with this homemade paste in the similar fashion to your regular toothpaste. Keep doing so for about 3 minutes and try to cover all your teeth. Rinse with water.
And you are done.
You can try out this process once or twice in a month to ensure that you don’t have to see a dentist.
Tip: Do not let this toothpaste touch your tongue as the taste is quite bitter and salty.
