The internet is a positive and wonderful space of cat videos, baby pictures and other exciting forms of content that gives you the much-needed boost to dispel the Monday blues.

One such video of sleeping baby waking up to his laughter is recently doing rounds on social media.

In the featured video, a young smiling baby boy named Alex is filmed by his parents. The baby is feeling drowsy after a delicious lunch and seems to fall in and out of sporadic naps, only to wake up laughing.

Tired, but content, the baby presents a blissful picture of peace and happiness that will warm the coldest of hearts. 

As children, we find that life is not as complicated and there are multiple reasons to find joy and happiness. Adulthood complicates that picture and make things murkier.

As we grow, our responsibilities burden us and exhaust us to a point where we loose perspective of the things that actually matter.

This video in a simple and poignant way reminds us to cherish the seemingly insignificant moments in life and find happiness in the smallest of things. 

Adults are more influenced by material pleasures. We have a tendency to overcomplicate matters and stick to the negative in any situation. Kids teach us how to find out the silver lining and hold on to it. The beautiful smiling visage of baby Alex is a welcome respite from all the stress of our jam-packed schedules.
