Snoop Dog has invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over for dinner to celebrate thanksgiving.
Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., 49, known professionally as Snoop Dogg (previously Snoop Doggy Dogg and briefly Snoop Lion), is an American rapper, songwriter, media personality, actor, and businessman.
In a recent interview with The Mirror, Snoop Dogg mentioned how he respects the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for choosing to live their life the way they want.
“I said Prince Harry had big balls when he didn’t invite Trump to his wedding,” Snoop Dogg told the Mirror. “And now, for real, I say he’s got an even bigger set of balls.”
“Him and Meghan are living their lives like they want and that can’t be an easy thing with the whole world judging them,” the rapper said. “They got to live life their way – they get a lot of respect from me for that.”
The performer said that he admired Meghan and Harry for stepping back as senior royals and moving to the US in order to pursue a quieter life away from constant public attention.
Prince Harry and Meghan quit royal duties last year for a new life in America. They are living in California with their children Archie and Lili.
The rapper has even invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to his house for Thanksgiving dinner and revealed that he is a big fan of Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex.
“If they want to come over for Thanksgiving dinner they are in for something special,” he said. “They can come over to Snoop’s crib.”
He mentioned that he would offer them “something special” and also added that he’s learned cooking from Gordon Ramsay. Snoop Dog insisted that people are always surprised by his cooking skills.
“People didn’t think I could cook,” he said. “They saw my cooking show and now they know that I can. I met up with my boy Gordon (Ramsay) and he has taught me a few things.”
Snoop Dogg also added that his close relationship with the royals doesn’t just extend to Prince Harry and Meghan.
The singer revealed that he is also close with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry’s older brother.
Prince William and Prince Harry have reportedly been fans of the rapper for years.
Talking about his friendship with Prince Harry and his brother Prince William, he adds: “Harry and William are my boys.”
“As soon as I knew they were fans I reached out to them and we‘ve been cool ever since,” he said. “I look out for them and they can reach out to me whenever they want they know that.”
Another of his British besties is David Beckham.
“David is my boy – he is busy in Miami with his franchise but we still speak,” he said. “We have been friends for 15 years now.”
“He loves hip hop, I love soccer,” he continued. “It was always going to be a friendship that worked. The first time I took him for lunch it was for chicken and waffles and next time we meet I am going to make it for him.”
It has not been confirmed whether Prince Harry and Meghan will accept Snoop Dogg’s kind offer but it is unlikely that the couple will be traveling to Britain for the holiday.
