A soldier from Russia has proposed to his girlfriend in the most unconventional way by aligning 16 tanks into a heart shape on Valentine’s Day.
Denis Kazantsev is a lieutenant and a platoon commander who surprised his girlfriend with a string of T-72B2 tanks which he arranged to form a heart shape.
The bizarre proposal occurred at a training ground close to the capital city of Moscow, whereas Lieutenant Kazantsev received a firm ‘yes’ from his girlfriend after showing off his big ‘guns.’
According to the reports, Lieutenant Kazantsev led his blindfolded partner, Alexandra Kopytova, into the center of the heart outline before telling her to open her eyes.
After bending his knee and professing his love for Kopytova, the man received a ‘yes’ he’d been waiting for, prompting him to put an engagement ring on her finger and give her a tight hug.
“I’m overwhelmed by emotions. I don’t understand what is going on, it’s so unexpected,” Kopytova admitted after the proposal.
Explaining the motive behind the unusual way to ask his other half to marry him, Lieutenant Kazantsev added:
“I postponed the proposal for about one month to organize all this so it would be unforgettable, once in a lifetime. It was not easy but with time my commanders agreed to let me do this.”
Fortunately, the entire thing was caught on camera whereas people from all around the world praised the man for coming up with an original idea to propose to his girlfriend.
