A confusing math puzzle has taken the internet by storm after users were asked to find the correct answer.
Though the math problem in question looks simple at first glance, keep in mind that it is full of tricks that you have to watch out for. If you want to get the correct answer, you will also have to follow the right order of operations.

Before we reveal the correct answer and explain how to get to the right answer, put your brain cells to use and see if you can figure it out on your own!
By now, you’re probably convinced that you’ve got the right answer so here comes the breakdown of the puzzle!
To solve the problem, start by presuming that L stands for lipstick, M for mirror, and N for nail polish.
FIRST LINE: L + L + L = 30, therefore 3L = 30 and L equals 10. The value of lipstick is 10.
SECOND LINE: L + M + M = 20, therefore 10 + 2M = 20 and M equals 5. The value of mirror is 5.
THIRD LINE: M + 2N + 2N = 9, therefore 4N = 4 and N equals 1. The value of nail polish is 1.
FOURTH LINE: M + N x L = 5 + 1 x 10 = 15.
Keep in mind that in order to get to the correct answer you have to perform multiplication before addition because the former has higher priority. Furthermore, be careful when calculating the value of nail polish!
