Video games are fantastic and so much fun.
They have been attracting the young population for a very long time and nothing can outrage the friction of attention and addiction it creates in the mind is incomparable. Video games are fascinating and the creators are making huge money out of it. Many people have been a victim of this money looting practice because of their addiction to the game.
Cleo Duckett fell in the trap too. Fortnite is a new video game that is going crazy viral and people can’t stop playing it.
Cleo Duckett lives in Bridgend in South Wales with her two sons. She is a polio patient and is wheelchair bound. Cleo became a victim if the game while her younger son was playing the game using her card.
The game is a battle where different players fight against each other through a character they can design on their own. The last player that survives the fight wins the game and that is how the game ends.
The game has a feature of purchasing things like clothes, weapon and other stuff to design your character for the game. Cleo’s son was playing the game and decided to use her card to buy more games with telling his mother. He used all the money and just left £8 in her account.
Cloe was totally unaware of the fact and came to know it when she went to the Cash machine to withdraw money out of it. she found out all her money was gone and she only has £8 in her account. She panicked and came back home to ask her sons if they know anything about it.
It is when her son started crying and admitted it was his fault and that he spent all the money on the game. He spent £1,193.25 and left her £245 in her overdraft debts.
Her account is completely flushed out and the 46 years old woman has no money to pay for her food or electricity bills.
She asked her bank for the help but they denied her saying her son is her responsibility. Her son is just a little boy, he is just 10 and he didn’t know what he was doing. Cloe knows she is never getting her money back but the poor woman has no money to pay for her overdraft either.
