But one day their visit to a particular store brought back so many memories and Jupiter got teary-eyed.

The pair has a son named Christopher who is now 52 years old is a sports lover since childhood. His love and passion for athletics didn’t fade away with the time and he started working as a high school football coach and math teacher in Ohio.

In his youth, he used to play baseball, too, in their home state of Ohio. In 1978, during his season-ending game, Christopher’s team won as he hits two home runs. The precious moment was captured by his parents in camera and Christopher’s teammates can be seen celebrating the victory giving high fives.

But their son’s winning gloves lost forever and they didn’t find it anywhere.

Julie told The New York Times: “The next day, he went back to find it and it wasn’t there. He never did tell us he lost it.”

But one day, Julie and Michael were browsing thrift store and she was flabbergasted to see the gloves hanging in one of the shelves. She recognized the gloves as the name of her son was written in bold letters “Christopher Lisi.” It was the glove their son had lost 40 years ago in Ohio.

Julie said: “My eyes just happened to glance at it. It didn’t really register. Things were whirling in my mind. I could see the name Christopher Lisi written down it. That is when I thought it is his, but it really didn’t seem possible.”

Michael told The New York Times, “I thought something happened and she turned the glove over and right down the side I could see it.”

“He was thrilled, he was jumping up and down. He just said, ‘Mom, bring it home,’’ she said about her son.
