Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and her husband Joe Jonas, 30, welcomed their first child together.
The 24-year-old mom gave birth at a hospital in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
The couple didn’t give further details about the new member of the family but they reportedly have a baby girl they called ‘Willa.’
Joe and Sophie confirmed the incredible news in a statement, saying they were ‘delighted to announce the birth of their baby.’
Game of Thrones fans immediately expressed that their baby’s name has a connection to the popular series.
Two minor characters bear the name, including one character who appeared as a wilding in two episodes of season five. Another character named Willow appeared as a servant in Winterfell in season eight.
The amazing news comes after an insider said to Entertainment Tonight that the actress ‘can’t wait’ to be a mom.
The source said: “Joe and Sophie are excited to be new parents and have been enjoying the process of getting ready for their baby.
“Sophie and Joe have been trying to also stay active going on walks and hiking.”
The source added: ‘The whole Jonas family is looking forward to showering the new addition with love. Sophie is due soon and can’t wait to be a mom.”
Sophie previously told Conan that she is ‘loving’ being in quarantine at home with her husband. “I’m kind of loving it. I’m an introvert, I’m a homebody, if I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me.”
She continued: “I see how people are finding it difficult, but I don’t understand how people are really struggling to practice social distancing. I’m like, all you have to do is stay at home and get drunk at home. It’s great.
“Joe and I… everything seems to be working out in my favour here because Joe is a real social butterfly and I struggle to lock him down and just spend time with me. It’s like a prison for him, but it’s great for me.”
