Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas wedding which was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
The wedding, which cost just $600, was held at the Little White Wedding Chapel where the couple exchanged candy rings.
Just a few hours after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, DJ Diplo shared videos of their wedding to his Instagram story.
Sophie can be seen wearing a white veil and jumpsuit and gold Gucci mules as she walked down the aisle.
Their ceremony in the Vegas chapel was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator. Sophie can be heard saying in one of the videos: ‘I thee wed…. and I love you… and I thank God He gave me you.’
Then the couple says in unison: ‘I promise you, I will never leave you. I will love and trust you all the days of my life.’
The wedding took place in front of their families and close friends. Priyanka Chopra served as maid of honor at the wedding.
The couple started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in October 2017.
In an interview with Harper Bazaar, Sophie said about Joe: ‘We had a lot of mutual friends, and they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time. We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue.’
‘A lot of [my happiness now] is to do with being with a person I’ve fallen in love with, who loves me more than he loves himself, and who wants to see me find my own happiness.’
‘That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find who I am – and finds my happiness in things other than acting.’
