The RMS Queen Mary, which was built by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland, sailed primarily across the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967.
She sailed on her maiden voyage on May 27, 1936, and won the Blue Riband. After the start of the Second World War, Queen Mary was converted into a troopship that ferried Allied soldiers.
