A photo of Venice has been making rounds on the internet after sharp-eyed users spotted a major mistake.

We all like to think that we are very observant and great at spotting small details. The test we have in store for you, however, will put your skills to the ultimate test.

Check out the photo above and tell us what you see. Most people can spot the gondola and the colorful buildings that make the great city what it is.

What the majority of people don’t see is the fact that there’s a terrible mistake at play. Take another look at the picture and try to figure out what’s wrong with it.

As you have probably realized by now, gondolas don’t have sails. Since the gondola in the photo has a large sail, the mistake you were asked to spot was right in front of you this entire time.

This next picture takes us deep under the sea where a large whale is being stalked by seven mermaids. Take a close look at the pic and try to spot them all!

How many mermaids did you find? If you found six or less, keep on looking, there are definitely seven of them hiding somewhere in the picture!

Hint: some of the mermaids you’re looking for might not be fully visible!
