The Bushfire near Sydney has been burning for days now and just a few days ago it had Sydney covered in a thick layer of smog making it very difficult to see even 10 meters away.
The conditions may get even worse as another fire is on the verge of starting which is going to burn 415,000 hectares of the mega blaze. The fear is that his fire is going to get combined with the already existing bushfire and if it happens, it is going to turn monstrous on Thursday.
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service said that the situations can get worse as the winds are blowing very strong in the direction and it can turn out into a hazard that is going to get out of control and supremely dangerous.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the state of Emergency on Thursday morning as she said that the conditions are going to be extremely fragile for the next 7 days and it is better to be aware of it rather than turning a blind eye to it.
In a press conference, she said that the decision of implementing an emergency is not taken without hours of wondering. It is an important decision to keep the civilians as protected as they can be.
She added that the state of emergency is only announced when is extremely necessary. It is definitely not a joke and a matter to take lightly. It is a great deal and a huge decision.
The bust fire has killed 6 people till now on records and more than 800 homes have been destroyed by the fire making lives of several families a living tragedy as the families have lost all their possessions with their homes.
