Growing older can be a bittersweet experience.
Everyday is a blessing full of moments and people we love and cherish, but having to deal with our own mortality can be a tough experience. There’s great irony that as a child all we wanted to do was grow up and become adults to fully experience life, but now as we are older, there is nothing scarier than growing older. The birthday cards we get that innocently remind us of the time passed. Still, it’s something we must tangle with. It’s important to remind yourself to live for today and make the memories you will cherish as you grow older.
