Steve Harvey was taping the “Ask Steve” segment of his show when he was given a shocking surprise by one of his audience members.
During the 2013 taping, Steve began introducing the audience member (whom he had not yet seen) as a man with an identity problem. The audience member, Matthew, stood up.

As soon as Steve saw him, he knew exactly what this “identity problem” was. Steve started cracking up, realizing that Matthew’s identity problem was being mistaken for Steve Harvey himself!
Steve pulled Matthew down on stage and gave him a big hug, and the two were laughing the whole time. They stood side by side as the audience marveled at the resemblance between the two.

Steve then asked Matthew’s wife to stand up so he could tell her, “you must be the second happiest woman on the planet”! She told Steve that everywhere they go, people are asking to take photos with her husband! Life really is different when you have a famous doppelganger!
