It is really difficult for parents to live their lives after losing their own child. Steven Curtis Chapman’s song is full of emotions and statements like Cinderella, I will be there; Heaven is the face.
The lyrics of the song are heart touching and fills you up with lots of emotions. One tragedy changed the Chapman family’s life as their daughter Maria Sue Chapman died in an accident on 21 May 2008.
Maria was just 5 years old when the accident took away her life. She is the adopted youngest daughter of the Chapman family. It took a lot of time for the family to get over the loss of their beloved daughter.
Will Franklin Chapman, who is Maria’s brother, was recently driving the vehicle that hit Maria, and that made him remember her in the most heartwarming way.
He posted on Instagram saying that he is not doing this so that people feel sad for him, but he posted because he was feeling really hurt and needed a reminder to stay hopeful and strong.
Maria got accidentally hit when Will was pulling into the driveway, and Maria passed away before her family even got a chance to meet her.
Steven shared his son’s post and said that it was the darkest moment of the family, and it has been 11 years today. He further said that he hopes that each member keeps moving forward and start doing better.
Steven also said that his son’s post is the most courageous act he has ever seen.
We hope that the Chapman family can cope up with the loss of their beloved daughter.
