We civilians enjoy our peaceful days and calm nights just because of men in blue.
They bear everything and every situation, just to protect us. They are appreciable.
They observe and deal with those very things which we even cannot think about, you name it and you get it. They see all the signs and proofs of immoralities conducted by humans such as violence and addiction.
The cops who were performing their duty at New Mexico dealt with a situation that will raise your goosebumps. This might be a simple routine duty day for all other officers; however, the life of a cop is full of thrill.
The deputies Roger Garcia and Sam Rodriguez along with Bernalillo County Sherriff’s department were on a duty and were doing patrol.
They encountered a car that was being driven unsteadily and was changing its direction abruptly over the road. The cops suspected the driver to be drunk; they stopped the car and pulled the driver out of the car.
The suspect was a 24 years old man named Jeffery Salas and he was actually drunk. This was not the horrifying thing which cops found, but something shocking is yet to come.
Cops found that there were three children in the car with their ages ranging from 5 years, 2 years and the little one was two years old. They were Salas’ children and look at the carelessness of their father, even seat belt was not fastened around the little one.
Now you might be thinking that how cruel their father is but the cruelty did not end here. As the children had no concern about the danger but with food.
The kids were starving and when Garcia asked that when they took their last meal. You will be shocked to know that they did not remember since when they had eaten food. The cops separated the kids from their father and rushed to McDonald’s to bring some food for the elder ones.
The other ones started making a bottle for the 2 years old. It might have been a hilarious scene if the situation at that time was not heart wrenching. A couple of cops were making a bottle on the roadside and they warmed the cold water with their heater.
They found that the diaper also needed to be changed so Rodriguez wrapped the baby in a blanket which he got from church.point 243 |
Rodriguez said that he has always acted a babysitter since childhood but has never done this thing while placing his pistol in his belt, sitting on the front seat of a patrolling car and with a rifle.point 164 | 1
However, cops were full of anger on behalf of the children and were shocked to see that humanity and morality are dying. They confirmed that the children were safe and shifted them to the Children Youth and Families Department as they would be safer there instead of with their father.
