Storm Ciara has hit the UK and the wisest idea to keep safe from it is by staying indoors and this is what most people did to make sure they stay alive and alright.
But these two young lads decided to step out and help people in trouble.
These two youngsters who are from Denton, Manchester are professional driveway specialists. When the storm hit, they saw their own fence crashing down due to it and that is what made them think.
It came to them that just like them there must be so many people suffering from the same and many of them are not even able to repair it on their own. This is why they decided to step up.
They wrote about their business on Facebook and asked people to tell them if there is any elderly resident around who needs help with their fencing after the storm hit.
The received a pretty great response on their post and it was shared more than 6,000 times.
This made it clear to them that there are hundreds of people who have broken fences due to the storm.
Since Sunday, the boys alone in Tameside have helped people with 50 fences.
They said, “Within an hour of the post, we had 300 likes on our post and till Monday about 4,000 people had liked it.
It only takes a couple of minutes to lift up a fence and put it back in the place. While the task is simply nothing to us, it can be a great deal of pain for an elderly who are unable and should not be picking up weight.
There have been some times that we had to replace the fence entirely and gladly there are places that are offering discounts to us after they heard about what we have done.”
