The wedding day of a newlywed couple became even more special after a stranger sang to them on the street with his guitar while he invited them to dance to the music.
Davina Winslow, 24, said the unexpected encounter on September 1, 2019 was ‘magical’ and the ‘perfect way to end’ their wedding day. She added that the stranger’s rendition of Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ was definitely the highlight of their day.

Davina, from Alaska, said: “We had just finished having our photos taken and we were walking back to our wedding venue.
“The man came up to us wearing flip flops and shorts and at first I thought he was lost and was going to ask for directions.
“But instead he said ‘hey, I see you have just got married, can I play you a song?’ and we were like ‘yes!’
“We are so very lucky and thankful that we got such a beautiful song sang for us and it only felt right for the two of us to dance.
“Kalub likes to randomly dance with me in the kitchen whilst I’m cooking so to have a spur of the moment dance in the street felt like we were back dancing in our kitchen and no one else was around.
“The stranger picked the song, it was like he knew this needed to be the song he played and I couldn’t have agreed more.
“The chorus describes exactly how I feel about Kalub as I couldn’t help but fall in love with him after reconnecting with him when we finished school.”
The mother-of-one said that she and husband Kalub, 26, had first met at primary and secondary school but only reconnected many years later.
Davina added: “We both got out of relationships around the same time and we went on a date and never looked back.
“I felt like I knew him and we were best friends as he’s so easy to talk to about anything and everything.
“And he’s truly interested in what you have to say; after that first date, I knew I was going to marry him.
“Somethings are meant to be and I feel like the stranger approaching us in the street was too.
“The kind man who sang to us probably thought nothing of it but to us, he truly made our wedding the most incredible and special day.”
