Watch the strangers helping the man free his leg

A man slipped while trying to board a train and his leg got stuck between a platform and carriage at Perth railway station in Australia.

The railway station was less crowded when the incident happened and people who were present at the time tried to free the man’s leg. But, they were unable to do so.

Soon hundreds of commuters joined them to free the man’s leg and started pushing the train.

They managed to push the train and the man was able to free his leg.

Transperth spokesman David Hynes told about the incident: “He stood in the doorway, and as he was taking up his position there, one leg slipped outside the door, slipped outside the gap, and he was stuck.”

“We alerted the driver, made sure the train didn’t move. Then our staff who were there at the time got the passengers, and there were lots of them, off the train, and organized them to sort of rock, tilt the train backward away from the platform, so they were able to get him out and rescue him.”

When the video of the incident was posted online, Internet users praised the kind-hearted people who decided to help the man to free his leg.

One user commented on the video: ‘An example of calm, considered unity. No one panicked, everyone contributed for a single simple and humane purpose.’

Another user wrote: ‘This is a pure sample of what people can do together to get rid of the MATRIX’ while the third one said: ‘that’s what we should be in this world; Each other’s keeper. but evil has not made it so. kudos to them all n God bless.’

Thankfully, the man was uninjured in the incident as people managed to free him at the right time.
