A Japanese photographer, Nyankichi Rojiupa, has found a group of stray cats who have turned a street with drain pipe holes into their playground, and his photos show just how much fun these felines are having.
“I casually stumbled upon these strays and now spend all of my weekends with them,” Rojiupa said. Although the photographer doesn’t have any cats of his own, he’s become friends with quite a few of them while taking the photos. “I’ve managed to earn their trust to the point where they allow me to play together.”
Their daily play is to hop in and out of the drain pipe holes and making the most adorable poses while playing. And when these adorable furballs aren’t busy jumping and hopping, they let Rojiupa pet them. You wouldn’t believe how friendly and adorable they are.
However, the photographer said that every now and then somebody starts raising concerns about the friendship he shares with these cats. According to him, some people worry that his photos might attract those who might harm the cats. “The cats live on the private, protected property,” Rojiupa assured the people.
