Imagine if you had no shelter, not knowing when your next meal was, or even not having had a bath in so long that you developed a terrible skin disease.
Well, that was the case for Blossom, a poor stray Labrador that was living on the porch of an abandoned house.
One day, she was discovered by Erika, a compassionate neighbor who would put out food and water for Blossom regularly after she found her.
However, Erika said that she could never come too close to Blossom since she was afraid of human contact, most likely due to neglect and perhaps even abuse.

So Erika thought it might be a good idea to call for help. She posted a photo of Blossom online and rescuers from WOOF Pet Rescue Society were able to find her and give her the care she desperately needed.
After Blossom was brought to safety, she was finally given a bath, maybe even for the first time in her life!

But the good news didn’t end there. WOOF updated Blossom’s posts online, especially since so many people were concerned about her.
Thanks to that, less than a month after Blossom was rescued, a loving couple wanted to adopt her and give her a new home!
Isn’t she just one of the most lovable things you’ve ever seen?
Thanks to caring and sincere animal lovers everywhere, Blossom’s story has an incredibly happy ending!
