Everyone has a childhood fantasy of finding a hidden treasure chest in their basement or backyard.
This student was fortunate enough to find a thing equally valuable to a chest full of gold and jewels.
The US student went to her Grandma’s place to find the most precious thing hidden in the leaky old garage. She found not one but two great cars in the garage. The cars were in bad condition as they were standing there for more than two decades.
One precious car standing in there was a 1981 Lamborghini Countach, worth around £350,000 if in fine condition and the other master car was a Ferrari 308 that has a net worth of £80,000 if it were in its perfect working order.
Eriegin is a Reddit user and primarily posted about her discovery on the site. The post got a lot of attention and people were curious to know where these cars came from.
She answered it with an explanation that her late Grandpa bought these cars for his exotic car rental business in 1989. However, the insurance costs became too high for him to operate the company, though he kept the cars and many others outside and in leaky garages for over two decades instead of selling them.
She said that she has no clue why he didn’t sell them when he had the chance.
Eriegin considers herself as a person unknown to everything about cars so she says; someone from her family will give these cars their pride back. She also said that it hurts her soul deeply seeing these supercars in such condition.
