A 20-year-old female law student from Russia has hit the headlines after beginning her anti-manspreading campaign by pouring a mixture of water and bleach on men’s groins on the underground trains in St.
Petersburg, Russia.
The 20-year-old Anna Dovgalyuk, who also happens to be a social activist, accuses men of “gender aggression.” She also claims that her home country, Russia, is slow and unwilling to counter the problem.
And so, this law student took the liberty to select male victims on the public transport in St. Petersburg and pour a mixture of bleach and water on their groins while they were keeping their legs apart.
The feminist claims that manspreading is “fought around the world – but hushed up here” and says that it is “a disgusting act.”
For her unconventional quest, she mixed 30 liters of water with 6 liters of bleach and spread the solution on those who she deemed to be sitting in an aggressive manner.
“This solution is 30 times more concentrated than the mixture used by housewives when doing the laundry.
“It eats colors in the fabric in a matter of minutes – leaving indelible stains,” she said. She also explained that her video is dedicated to all men who practice manspreading.
Anna, however, didn’t say anything about the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, who is also known for expressing through his manspreading prowess.
Just last year, the former US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton upbraided the Russian leader saying:
“There’s an expression- we certainly know it in New York- called manspreading.
“Every time I met with him, it would be… *gesturing spreading legs apart* the whole deal.”
