Alcohol makes you do crazy things, the kind of things that you can never imagine doing while you are sane or sober.
But this young man, who had a desire all his life but was never able to bring it to life, got enough courage after drinking that he did live his dream.
Barney Rule is just 20 years old who is currently studying at Edinburg University but it seems like he was not happy with his university.
So, after one night of heavy drinking in the club, he decided he needs to take a walk to set his mind that he wishes to drop out of his university.
It was the 7th of September when he started walking and only realized a day later that he is still walking and do not want to stop at all.
Barney started walking from his hometown Chester but is in the South of France currently as he has already walked about 500 miles. What is the surprise? He does not wish to stop.
Yes, Barney has no intention to stop as he says that he always wanted to walk to Spain which will make it another 500 miles of the walk.
Barney says “It was a dream I have always had. I always wanted to go to Spain on foot and that night when I started walking and kept going and going, I had known I cannot go back.
I was finally doing what I had always wished on doing and it made me the happiest.”
“I do not know if it is even legal to walk into Spain or not but I am definitely doing it no matter how much of work it demands.”
Well, I wish all of us could make such good drunk decisions but it looks like Barney is the only lucky one out here.
