A group of music students has left the entire church of wedding guests stunned after their ‘Going to the Chapel’ flash mob performance which was organized by the bride in secret.
Making sure that her wedding was an unforgettable one, Shannon the bride decided to keep one important detail away from everyone including her groom, Rick.
Prior to the ceremony, Shannon visited a local music school and asked the students to perform at her wedding.
After the arrangements were made, 15 students of the music school sneaked inside different areas of the church and waited for the right moment to perform a flash mob of ‘Going to the Chapel.’
Unlike the majority of flash mobs that we can see on social media, this one didn’t involve any pre-recorded music. Much to the surprise of all guests, the students sang without any instruments.
The first one to start the acappella flash mob was a young boy who gathered the courage to stand up and start singing during the ceremony.
Soon enough, the boy was joined by a girl. Then, along with each new phrase, a new voice joined the performance. By the end of the rendition, all 15 students were standing and singing.
To spice up the flash mob, the students’ music teacher came in from the back of the church and led a group of young musicians who were playing on a guitar.
Before their performance ended, all students and guitarists left the church while they were still singing. As for the wedding guests, they burst into joyous laughter and clapped loudly!
