This time around, the shipping vessel was a ship from Panama and was called the Coral Crystal which ran aground towards the double lane long route. Hence, this forced respective officials to carry out a redirecting maneuver to allow other shipping vessels to pass out with ease and convoy towards the other lane.
Plenty of tugboats that belonged to the Suez Canal did manage to float the giant vessel which carried cargo supplies that reportedly weighed around 43,000 tonnes.point 253 |

While it is still unclear upon the part of officials regarding what really resulted in the giant vessel becoming stuck and run aground.
Clearly, the fact that such an incident took place in a span of fewer than six months of the previous incident was definitely a matter of concern for many. That six-day-long rescue operation resulted in a massive trade halt worth 42 billion Pounds, in terms of global trading loss.
