Superman Actor Dean Cain Says Americans Should Respect The Police More


Superman star Dean Cain has opened up about his views on law enforcement as he said Americans should be more respectful to the police.

As the 54-year-old actor, who played Clark Kent in the popular 90s TV series called Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, suggested, he wants fellow Americans to better understand and respect the police even though he admits “there are bad seeds” among the good ones.

“I felt the way I could serve others was to step in myself, stand with the men and women in blue, and try and sort of bridge that gap that has started to exist here in the United States and elsewhere,” the actor, who became a reserve police officer back in 2018, told TodayExtra.point 432 | 1

“Police officers are real heroes, all the time. For someone who played a hero on TV to come and become one of these officers, and I would never call myself a hero, but to be alongside some of these real heroes is important.”

As the Superman actor added, people should attempt to counterbalance negative stories and events with positive ones and try to better understand law enforcement.

“I want people to understand and respect law enforcement. There are bad seeds in every group unfortunately and there has been negative stories, but I want to try and counterbalance that,” Mr. Cain added.

“There are great things you can do as a law enforcement officer, and I take great pride in that.”

According to the reports, Cain has become an Idaho reserve police officer back in 2018.
