A supermarket has recalled 10 different flavors of baby food pouches over fears they are unsafe to eat due to molds.
Lidl has pulled 10 flavors from Lupilu organic baby food range and customers who have purchased one of the products are urged not to give it to their children.
Shoppers should return the affected items to the nearest Lidl store and they will receive a full refund.
The supermarket said in a recall notice that shoppers won’t need to show a receipt to return the product.
Stage one apple pouches, stage one fruit pouches, stage one veg and fruit pouches are among the products from the Lupilu organic range that have been recalled as they may contain mold.
Stage two breakfast pouches have been pulled out from shelves. No other products of Lupilu have been recalled and are therefore safe for consumption.
“Lidl GB is recalling the above mentioned products due to the potential presence of mould in the product,” the supermarket said.
“Lidl GB wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

She first was sick the day after we arrived, we knew it wasn’t down to anything she had eaten or drank there as we wasn’t even going to chance that and had decided to buy her a load of organic food pouches prior to our trip, so we knew exactly what she was eating….point 230 |
