However, Maya Jama is taking this scary situation quite calmly.
A few days back, the Radio One DJ has posted pictures of her swollen head on Instagram. While it is not confirmed whether or not it is due to mumps, the DJ is keeping up all updated with her progress and taking the while situation light-heartedly.
She also posted a picture of Twitter, where the 25-year celebrity wished her fans Valentine’s Day and revealed that she woke up with a swollen face and felt like it was an incredible sight to see.
Subsequently, she shared the full information about the situation by posting before and after pictures on Instagram. The caption wrote that life comes to you fast. Head swelling volume number 1 and it is day 2 of being at complete bed rest.
She said that her head is looking round like an egg. The DJ revealed that she is super bored sitting inside the house all day long and have downloaded love island game to pass the time.
Her friends are constantly advising her to remain patient during her recovery process. The celebrity revealed that she is getting frustrated because her weekend was supposed to be fun, and now she has to lock herself down.
Later she also posted another picture where she is lying on her sofa and updated that there is still no confirmation whether it is a swollen gland or mumps, but she agreed that she surely looks funny.
Maya revealed her situation has become so confusing that she doesn’t know whether to laugh at it or cry. Throughout the whole process, her fans seem to be comforting her and wishing her good health.
