Sydney Is Covered With A Thick Layer of Smoke Making It The Most Polluted In The World

The bushfire in New South Wales has been burning for days and days now and there is no sign of it stopping.

Due to the same, on Tuesday, Sydney was covered with a thick and very toxic layer of smoke and the condition has grown to become hazardous.

The visibility was very low and this protected the ferries and other public transports including trains and flights from going on.

The railway station broke out with a fire alarm blazing as the smoke was extremely high.

The authorities have suggested commuters to postponed their commute to and from Sydney. For an urgent basis, ferries will take runs between the city and Manly on the northern beaches.

Transport NSW has also said that this will even affect the fare to go higher.

The readings show 778 for PM2.5 in Mona Vale which is said to be the highest recorded pollution in the world till the present date.

As per the reports, the smoke in the city was so thick that people were unable to see a few meters far while on their vehicles this is why authorities have suggested people to stay indoors rather.

The authorities have also said that the amount of smoke is hazardous and can cause a lot of sicknesses in humans as well as other creatures.

The conditions have been the same throughout the city and it is even the same on the beaches.
