Dogs are the men’s best friend.
We have heard of this enough but the statement still feels underrated. They are not only our best friends but a lot more.
They are the ones that are always keeping us healthier. There are studies that say raising up a dog as your kid keeps you away from anxiety.
There are studies that say it is better to sleep cuddling a dog then a human. Dogs are active therapy givers and they make the stress go away and yes they are also doing the same job on airports too for the fliers who are conscious and nervous.
Well, now a new study has come out and this one says, taking your dog to work can keep you healthier mentally. Now, what can be better news right? Also, today is national “Bring your dog to work day.”
In 2012, a study was published in the International Journal of Workplace Health Management that stated how employees reported how their stress levels have gone low just when they took their dogs to the work along with them.
The report also says that employees showed to have more satisfaction with their job and this resulted in the employees being happier.
Keele University’s animal geographer Dr. Daniel Allen, said “There are hundreds of studies that have proven how positively dogs affect out mental health. There is no surprise that dogs are animals mostly used in therapies.
Dogs have this amazing aura, filled with love and satisfaction. They behave to be great companions and can enlighten anyone’s mood in just a brief moment. Even a few minutes with a dog can cheer up your mood and make your stress levels fall down.”
Now it is time to take your dog to your workplace and not just help yourself but others too in dealing with the stress levels.
